Customized virtual experiences for OT & SLP students

Whether you already use Simucase in your program or you’re ready to start, Simucase Supervision Services can provide customized virtual clinical and fieldwork experiences for your students. Our services are designed to simplify the integration of Simucase into your curriculum. We handle everything from planning and scheduling to completing performance evaluation.
For occupational therapy, a certified and licensed occupational therapy practitioner from Simucase will act as a fieldwork educator and partner with you to provide a 40-hour Level I fieldwork experience for your students. The experience can focus on pediatrics and adolescents, adult rehabilitation, or behavioral health and psychosocial factors—or it can be customized to meet your program’s needs.
For speech-language pathology, an expert ASHA-certified SLP from Simucase partners with you to provide a customized virtual clinical practicum for your students. Students can earn 15-50 clinical clock hours in the topic areas you select. We have existing syllabi that cover pediatrics, adults, low-incidence populations, and more. Or we can customize the experience for you!
Supervision Services include:
Creation of student debriefing groups: Submit your student list, and our team will arrange and organize your students into groups within the dashboard.
Assignment preparation: All assignments for each group are established before the supervision experience begins. The assignments are thoughtfully created based on your learning objectives and your students’ current knowledge and skills.
Live onboarding: Join us for a comprehensive Simucase training session to review the online platform and the requirements for participating in the program.
Online pre-briefing & debriefing sessions: Supervisors thoroughly review the simulations to be completed. They meet with students to discuss their performance, answer questions, and provide feedback.
Ongoing student progress monitoring: Supervisors review student transcripts prior to debrief sessions and offer guidance.
Attendance tracking: Supervisors maintain records of student attendance, participation, and engagement.
Performance evaluation: A comprehensive evaluation of student performance is conducted at the culmination of the supervision experience.
